OVERVIEW
Candidate College is an NGO where the role was Head of Web Design, covering both personal, hands-on design work and leading development projects at a management level. The work spanned an internal weekly tracking system built from scratch, custom internal tools for different divisions, public-facing landing page and hero section design, and heading the design of CC Store, an internal and external e-commerce platform for the organization's branded merchandise.

OBJECTIVES
/ 01
Build Internal Tools That Support the Team
Design internal systems like the Weekly Tracker and division-specific tools that support members' day-to-day work and management needs.
/ 02
Bring Visual Energy to the Organization's Public Presence
Design landing pages and hero sections with varied, interactive visual animation to represent the NGO publicly.
/ 03
Lead a Cross-Functional E-Commerce Project
As Head of Web Design, map out and lead the design of CC Store from user flow through both internal and external interfaces, working closely with the development team and a co-head.

/ 01
Weekly Tracker (Built From Scratch)
Designed a website from zero for tracking members' weekly attendance, monthly feedback from supervisors, and a personal work stats dashboard.

/ 02
Custom Internal Division Tools
Designed custom features for different internal divisions based on their specific needs, such as an article upload feature for the content division.

/ 03
Public Landing Pages & Hero Sections
As Head of Web Design, map out and lead the design of CC Store from user flow through both internal and external interfaces, working closely with the development team and a co-head.

/ 04
CC Store Project Leadership
As Head of Web Design, led the CC Store project alongside a co-head, mapping out the brief and user flow for the organization's branded merchandise store.

/ 05
CC Store Internal Platform
Designed the internal side of CC Store, covering product management, order processing, status tracking, and shipping.

/ 06
CC Store External Platform
Designed the external, customer-facing store, including shopping and cart functionality.
/ 01
Weekly Tracker
Built entirely from scratch, the Weekly Tracker gives members a way to log weekly attendance, receive monthly feedback from their supervisor, and see their own performance through a personal stats dashboard, designed end-to-end through to developer implementation.

/ 02
CC Store, Led End-to-End
As Head of Web Design, mapped out CC Store's brief and user flow together with a co-head, then guided the team through designing both sides of the platform, an internal system for managing products, orders, and shipping, and an external store with a full shopping and cart experience.

/ 03
Animated Hero Sections Across Public Pages
Each hero section across the organization's public-facing pages was designed with its own distinct interactive visual animation, giving Candidate College's public presence more personality than a standard static layout.

IMPACT
These projects gave Candidate College both stronger internal operations and a more distinctive public presence, the Weekly Tracker and division-specific tools gave members and leadership better visibility into day-to-day work, while CC Store turned branded merchandise sales into a fully functioning e-commerce platform with proper internal management behind it. Leading CC Store also meant translating high-level briefs and user flow into an executable design plan for the wider team to build from.
RESULTS
A wide body of work at Candidate College spanning personal, hands-on design (the Weekly Tracker, internal division tools, animated hero sections) and cross-functional leadership as Head of Web Design on the CC Store project, from initial user flow mapping through both its internal management system and external storefront.
