OVERVIEW
Sparx Network is a royalty-free music platform for public spaces like cafes and restaurants in Malaysia, essentially a Spotify-like experience, but royalty-free and customizable for businesses. The scope covered two connected products: a public-facing website where businesses can browse and preview music by category before ordering, and an admin platform for managing the music library, metadata, playlists, and customers.

Auto-Detected Music Metadata on Upload
Collaborated directly with developers to design an upload experience where metadata, artist, vocal or instrumental type, album, and more, is automatically detected rather than entered manually for every track, keeping the library organized as it grows.

Spotify-Style Discovery, Built for Business
The public website mirrors a familiar streaming experience, browse, preview, choose by genre or vibe, but is purpose-built for businesses selecting royalty-free music for cafes, restaurants, and other public spaces rather than personal listening.

IMPACT
Designing both the public discovery experience and the admin management platform gave Sparx Network a complete system, customers can find the right royalty-free music for their space quickly, while the admin side, backed by automatic metadata detection, keeps a growing music library, along with customer and business data, easy to manage as the platform scales.
RESULTS
A complete two-sided platform design for Sparx Network, a public, Spotify-style music discovery site for browsing and previewing royalty-free tracks by genre, vibe, and venue type, paired with an admin platform covering music upload with automatic metadata detection, playlist and album organization, and customer and business management.
